THE PERFECT HOME FOR A HIP YOUNG URBANITE, THIS CHIC LOFT MIGHT BE SMALL IN SIZE BUT IT’S BIG IN STYLE

Our client reached out to DEKORA to prepare this home for market. After investing in a significant renovation to update his dated studio suite in an older building, he needed the small condo to show beautifully to achieve his list price. Located just off of desirable 17^th Avenue in lower Mount Royal, this property had loads of appeal for a hip urban buyer, but other listings in the building and in several nearby new developments were all competing for the same demographic. Our challenge was to make this property stand out from all the rest. To achieve that, the living and dining spaces in this compact suite needed to look and feel big, the style needed to feel modern and approachable, and the design story needed to be youthful and trendy. We also had the opportunity to style the built-in murphy bed – a first for us here in Calgary!

The result was a spacious living space with full sized furniture pieces, great art and mod decor appealing to a style conscious first time buyer. Within a couple of weeks, that very target buyer was calling it home. Naturally, seller, buyer and realtor were all thrilled – and so was the DEKORA team!
