A SHOW-STOPPER OF A NEW HOME ON 4TH STREET EVOKES PARISIAN FLAIR

Immediately, we noticed the mosaic tile floors. The marble fireplaces. Herringbone patterns. The intricate architectural details. White walls. The crystal chandelier. The richly paneled library. And the doors – oh, those beautiful doors! We noticed how every single design choice was so carefully considered. Old-world style seamlessly woven in with the latest technology and modern design elements. As you can tell, the moment we saw this home, we fell in love. We were transported. We were taken away to a wonderful Parisian pied-a-terre, located just a short block away from the Seine. So strong was the feeling that we vividly recalled the chatter and music emanating from the local cafes, and our mouths watered as we remembered the wonderful baguettes and pain au chocolat baked in a nearby boulangerie. The architect, designer and builder left nothing to chance with this spectacular new home, so neither could we.
A Parisian styled space wonderfully and unapologetically mixes the old and new, regardless of pedigree but always with panache. Each piece of furniture must be unique, their ages transcending decades or, if possible, centuries. Flea market finds and luxe fabrics come together with interesting art, both classic and modern. And finally, there must be liberal, unexpected doses of colour and quirk because after all, this is a style that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Emulating this was our goal, starting with a strong dose of classic style, and finishing with an unmistakably modern punch. This picture-perfect home is move-in ready. All the buyer needs to bring is their brosse à dent!
