This beautiful heritage Craftsman home in a prime Lower Mount Royal location had recently had a total, ground-up restoration and renovation, transforming it to virtually new-home condition. The owners of this property are repeat DEKORA clients, and we appreciated having the opportunity to work with them again on such a great home. Their restoration of this house was an epic project, starting from the foundation up!

Working with some of the clients’ own classic modern furniture pieces was our starting point to give this home a thoroughly modern-day interpretation. Although the house had been completely modernized, the renovations were very sympathetic and respectful of its heritage character, preserving wonderful period details such as original built-ins, pocket doors, millwork and those funky cast-iron radiators! In styling the home, a modern mix of furnishings with a mid-century vibe brings a sophisticated contemporary feel to the traditional architecture.
