BOLD DESIGN FOR THIS NEW HOME CREATES A STIR IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

When this new-build project hit the market, it was being called “the most talked about home in Altadore” and for good reason! Tall and distinctive, it replaced an older one-level bungalow on the lot, which was quite a change! Styled as a kind of modern urban farmhouse, it is a real standout project by a great, innovative builder. The open concept main level features a huge, welcoming kitchen as its focal point, a dramatic glass enclosed open stairwell and wonderful millwork detail that evokes a simple and sophisticated “farmhouse” aesthetic. This lovely tension between the refined and the rustic was our jumping-off point for furnishing and styling the home. Relaxed, casual comfort combined with style and panache is the finished result!
