We are much more than a business. We think of DEKORA as a community, and we care about contributing to the larger community we are all a part of.

DEKORA believes in community. We have been privileged to support many charities through furniture donation and the services of our people, whether furnishing a house for a family in crisis in Vancouver, sending our trucks and people to pitch in during the Calgary flood, or matching donations to the Canadian Red Cross for Fort McMurray wildfire aid. Throughout the years, DEKORA has helped a variety of organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, Atira Women's Resource Society, and Kids Help Phone Line through the annual Homes for the Holidays event. We believe in the power of community and supporting people in need.

Partnering with the Salvation Army, DEKORA provided furniture, household goods and full services to furnish apartments at “Esther’s Place,” a shelter residence for women and kids fleeing domestic abuse.

DEKORA stepped in to furnish and style demonstration units when Atira opened “Canada’s First Recycled Shipping Container Social Housing Development” in Vancouver. Atira Women’s Resource Society is committed to ending violence against women through education, advocacy and outreach.
